Cool deck, pavers, and stamped concrete around St. George pools collect dust, calcium, and furniture rust. The goal is grip and a clean look — not stripping the coating you paid for.
The problem

The solution

We cover or work around equipment pads and keep overspray out of the pool as much as the layout allows. Tell us if the water is freshly balanced — we will say if a visit should wait a day.
Process
- Move (or we work around) chairs, tables, and float bins.
- Pre-rinse dust so we are not grinding grit into the coating.
- Apply where needed, dwell, rinse at a deck-safe pressure.
- Spot the rust rings and calcium. Some rings ghost; we say so.
- Squeegee standing water off walking paths when we can.
Desert notes
Shade sails and west-facing decks cook in July. We prefer morning work so cleaner does not flash. Wind in Hurricane and on the Ivins benches throws spray — we plan the wand direction. If your deck is new (under 30 days), wait; we will not wash a curing coating.
